AI CFO – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Egeo Labs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the AI CFO mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

🔒1. Data We Do NOT Collect

AI CFO is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Financial records, transactions, invoices, or reports you create
• Receipt photos or OCR scan results
• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
• Usage analytics or behavioural data

All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device using an AES-256 encrypted SQLite database. It never leaves your device.

📱2. Local Storage & Encryption

The App uses SQLCipher, an open-source library that applies industry-standard AES-256 encryption to your local database file. Your encryption key is derived from your device's secure environment and is never transmitted anywhere.

Optional encrypted backups are stored only on your device's local storage or a location you explicitly choose (e.g. your own cloud drive). We have no access to these backup files.

🤖3. AI CFO Assistant

The AI CFO Assistant analyses your financial data entirely on-device using a rule-based engine. No financial data is sent to any external AI service or API. There are no calls to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other third-party AI provider.

🔗4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party SDKs, which may collect limited, non-financial data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob (free tier) – may serve advertisements and collect advertising identifiers. See Google Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat (subscription management) – processes subscription purchase receipts. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy. RevenueCat does not receive your financial data from the App.

Premium subscribers see no advertisements (AdMob is disabled for premium users).

📋5. App Permissions

• Camera – used solely to capture receipt photos for OCR. Photos are processed on-device and not stored beyond the scan.
• Biometric / Fingerprint – used for app lock authentication only. Biometric data is handled by your device's OS and never accessed by us.
• Notifications – used to send local reminders you configure. No data leaves your device.
• Storage – used to save encrypted backup files to a location you choose.

👦6. Children's Privacy

AI CFO is intended for business owners and adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us and we will assist.

🗑️7. Your Data & Deletion Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control. To delete all your data, simply uninstall the App — this permanently removes the encrypted database from your device.

For any RevenueCat subscription data, you may request deletion by contacting us at the email below, and we will submit the request on your behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
